The Architects of the gifted is an entertaining novel written by Cam C. Wolfe. The story revolves around a young boy named Carter Becker. While Carter was out for a night of fun with his friends Tony and Scarlett, a great disaster destroys his city.
Carter soon learns that all of the destruction was caused by a rouge soul reaper. This soul reaper is intent on kidnapping his friend Scarlett for his nefarious plans. Carter now finds himself on a strange adventure and with the help of some fantastic and mysterious individuals he must save Scarlett from an unknown fate.
The Architects of the gifted was a very fun book to read. I found this story to be very interesting and enjoyable. It was well written and had some very interesting elements of fantasy and mythology. All of the characters were well developed and interesting. I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a good fantasy adventure. Overall this story rates five stars.
