Review of Transall Saga by Gary Paulsen
The Transall Saga is a novel written by Gary Paulsen. It’s a story that centers around a young boy named Mark. The story starts out with Mark camping by himself in the desert. He had given himself a personal challenge to see if he could cross the desert in less than a week.
While on this hick a strange beam of light teleports him to a jungle. Since the flora and fauna look so different from what he is used to, he believes that the jungle is on another planet. He must learn to survive in this strange new world as he tries to find a way back home.
Overall Transall Saga is a very entertaining story. Mark has a lot of interesting experiences that demonstrate how strong his character is. The story takes you through several twists and turns. You will be glued to the pages as you race to find out what happens to Mark. I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys sci-fi adventure stories. The Transall Saga rates four out of five stars.
