Review of Cherub, Mission 8, Mad Dogs

Cherub is a series, created by Robert Muchamore, that is centered around the adventures of James and Lauren Adams, and their friends. They are a part of a secret government agency called Cherub. The purpose of this agency is to train secret agents from an early age. These agents go on secret missions around the world to infiltrate criminal organizations. The idea behind this is that Adults would never suspect that young kids would be working as spies to take down criminals.

Mad Dogs centers around James Adams and his latest mission to infiltrate a violent drug gang of the same name. His friend Bruce Norris also joins him on this mission.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. It’s a good continuation of the Cherub series and I can’t wait to read Robert Muchamore’s next book. There are some great concepts and the characters are written really well. It does a fine job exploring how violence can affect young minds. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes to read spy novels with a bit of adventure. Mad Dogs rates four out of five stars.
